Star Nights

Stargazing

We are pleased to be hosting another of our very popular Stargazing Evenings at Whitelee WIndfarm Visitor Centre on the 27th of February 2024 between 19:00 and 21:00. This will be a free event hosted by Whitelee Staff, the Astronomical Society of Glasgow and the Planetarium at Glasgow Science Centre.

This event is designed for people wanting to know more about the stars and how to get into astronomy. Due to the content and activities, this session is not designed for younger children. Therefore all participants are required to be over the age of 14. To accomodate our young budding astronomers there will be Junior Stargazing nights in the Autumn.

Numbers are limited due to the spaces available for the activities. If the weather is dry and clear then there will be outdoor activities but there will also be wet weather alternatives planned. To apply for tickets please contacts us on;
