Entrance and exits
The main entrances and exits to Whitelee Visitor Centre are wheelchair accessible.
Wheelchair accessibility
We have a wheelchair available from reception. Please ask a member of staff if you require a manual wheelchair for the duration of your visit to the Centre. Please note this is available on a first come first serve basis.
Bus Tours: Our bus has space for 1 wheelchair at all times however we can remove seats to fit more wheelchairs if required. Please speak with reception staff on arrival to book a tour and inform us of your requirements.
Toilets and baby changing areas
An accessible toilet and baby changing area with toilet is available.
Parents with babies or toddlers
We are a breastfeeding friendly establishment. We can heat baby food and drinks in our café and highchairs are available for families with young children. Just ask our staff and they’ll be happy to help you.
Visitors with additional support needs
First aid
We have a first aid kit and defibrillator located at reception and always at least one fully qualified first aider on duty at all times.
Carers
Entry to the visitor centre is free. There is a small charge for bus tours, all paying visitors who require special assistance on a tour are offered free admission for their carer to the tour.
Assistance dogs
We only allow Assistance Dogs in the visitor centre.
