Looking for somewhere different to take your group?

Why not head to Whitelee Visitor Centre and take part in one of our workshops and guided tours?

Take a guided tour onto the windfarm where the children will explore the turbines and find out about the nature that lives at Whitelee and take part in a workshops relating to the badge you are working on.

The programme costs £3 per child with up to 4 accompanying adults free of charge and all other adults £2pp. We can accommodate up to 30 children and a minimum of 15 children*.  Payment is required 2 weeks in advance.

We are now taking bookings for uniformed groups out of hours on a Thursday evening 6-8pm (March - June and September) as well as Saturdays and Sundays 10-12am during term time and 7 days a week 10-12am during school holidays.  Booking is essential.

*we can take groups of less than 15 but you will be charged for 15 children.

Whitelee Windfarm Visitor Centre in partnership with the Glasgow Science Centre are launching a series of exciting star parties this autumn and winter 2016/17 to help you in your quest.

This 2 hour package will include a live stargazing session, an interactive workshop and a make and take activity to help develop your knowledge of our universe, all for the great price of £4 per child!! 

We can accommodate a maximum of 60 children and require a minimum booking of 20.  These star parties will take place on various Monday nights 7pm-9pm November and Janurary.  Please contact Whitelee-enquiries@glasgowsciencecentre.org

party. Bookings are not currently being taken for Star Parties.  Dates will be released closer to the time.
