Whitelee Visitor Centre is opening its doors to the Energy Saving Trust tomorrow (Tuesday 9th) to help you save energy and save money!
Do you want to save money on your energy bills? Would you like to know what options are available to you? The Energy Saving Trust has teamed up with Whitelee Windfarm Visitor Centre to offer free impartial advice on how to save energy in your home and hundreds of pounds a year.
Join us on Tuesday 9th April where you can:
- Learn about generating your own heat and electricity using renewable technologies
- Learn about the UK Government’s Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive scheme, which should be available from summer 2013
- Visit a real home with a renewables system through the Green Homes Network
- Arrange a free home visit and find out which renewable technologies are best for your home
- Speak to a qualified energy advisors about accredited installers in your area.
For the kids we will have some face painting and pinwheel windmills too! Whitelee is also home to over 70km of trails for walking and an exhibition and café back at the Visitor Centre.
