Whitelee Windfarm Construction Notice to Site Users

As you may be aware Whitelee Windfarm is currently being extended. As such, part of the windfarm is a construction site and will be until the extension is completed in May 2012. This means that construction areas are not accessible by non-construction personnel. For a map of the site showing areas that are inaccessible as well as accessible, please click on the link below.

Sisk Roadbrige who are the principle contractor for the Whitelee Extension have issued the following statement regarding access: 

"Please do not enter the Whitelee Windfarm Extension construction site, in accordance with the Land Reform Act 2003, Chapter 2, Part 6 (1) (g) public access rights are temporarily removed from the construction site. Construction works are programmed to be completed in May 2012. In the interest of public safety, Sisk Roadbridge the principle contractor cannot allow the public to access the site during the construction period. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, thank you for your co-operation.”
