Using public transport?
Unfortunately the Visitor Centre at Whitelee is not yet part of a designated bus route. If travelling by bus, Eaglesham is the closest village to the windfarm and Visitor Centre. However, please note that you would require private transport (taxi) to get from Eaglesham to Whitelee Windfarm.
The closest train station to Whitelee is in East Kilbride with the nearest station being Hairmyres. However, please note that you would require private transport in order to get from the train station to Whitelee Windfarm
